The Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily customer order fulfillment activities within an assigned

area(s) of our distribution facility.

This position is responsible for demonstrating safety and operational

expertise within a quality and productivity driven environment.

This position will be required to proficiently

perform at least one or more distribution-related activities (receiving, order filling, picking, shipping, packing,

returns, replenishing, inventory, and value-added service) on a regular basis.

The warehouse associate will

be cross-trained in multiple service departments and will be utilized according to business needs.

Receiving – Load and unload inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, and storage areas.

Ensure all

incoming delivery matches the customers packing list and we are following the consolidating, receiving &

staging processes. Store cargo in assigned locations using cargo boards and pallets.

Picking/order fulfillment - Fulfill daily orders according to KPI’s to meet client SLA’s. Follow Picking

procedures according to order specifications. Report inventory discrepancies or picking issues to their

supervisor. Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.

VAS (Value Added Services) - Follow inventory service procedures according to the client and department

store guidelines. This includes but is not limited to ticketing, labels, hanging, folding and inspecting

inventory.

Inventory - Follow inventory procedures to manage inventory shortages and discrepancies. Address

inventory issues through communication with the Inventory Supervisor. Complete Quality Checks and Cycle

count requests provided by Customer Survey and report back findings. Follow Quality Assurance processes

to ensure outbound shipments are accurate according to their designated carrier and order type.

Packing and Processing - Follow packing procedures according to client & order type to ensure accuracy

of each package. Ensure each package has the correct packing labels, shipping labels and label

placements to meet shipping requirements. Communicate shortages, discrepancies or packing roadblocks

to the warehouse supervisor. Place completed orders on assigned outbound locations based on order type

and carrier.

Replenishment – Follow replenishment procedures to ensure we are correctly transferring pallets and or

cartons to designated pick/pallet locations necessary to fulfill open orders in a timely manner. Communicate

any roadblocks or space constraints to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Returns - Follow inspection procedures according to client needs to identify damaged inventory vs inventory

returned to stock. Restock daily inventory following the correct procedures and combining damaged goods

according to clients.

General Warehouse - This warehouse associate is responsible for the daily maintenance of our warehouse

including but not limited to sweeping, collecting empty boxes debris & shrink wrap from the warehouse

floor. Assist in throwing out trash, and working with the baler to compress the cardboard to keep the

warehouse space clean and organized. Communicate any safety hazard to the Warehouse Supervisor so

it can be addressed accordingly.

Requirements, Skills & Abilities include but not limited to:

● Follows work safe practices

● Operates various pieces of equipment (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, hand held scanner,

box cutter, picking cart, desktop computer, scale, shrink wrap and baler).

● Basic ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, using the English language

● Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication)

● Basic computer skills (accessing and navigating the internet; familiar with the keyboard; opening,

closing, and saving documents)

● Ability to push, pull, grasp, and fine manipulation of equipment using hands is ongoing throughout

the work hours

● Must be able to bend and lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet for the entire shift.

● Must be able and willing to frequently bend, squat, twist, push/pull to retrieve inventory and

packing items throughout the shift

● Must be able to work on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day with extensive lifting and

pushing of heavy product

● Exhibited good job performance and behavior as measured through indicators such as teamwork,

attendance, quality and productivity, etc.

● Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties effectively

● Ability to be a self-starter, work effectively and independently

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger,

handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel,

crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50

pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,

peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
